Women’s issues with Jyotisangh – panel discussion
A talk will be organized around a panel of eminent speakers to discuss with women and men together, about some of the issues that women have to (still) face in our modern societies. We are also inviting you to discover the permanent photo exhibition displayed inside the Jyoti Sangh building on Relief Rd; which depicts the journey of women’s emancipation, through 75 years, in India and Gujarat in particular.
From the hoarding boards in the western part of the city to Manekchawk and some pols, we are inviting you to look for and discover the photographs of Uzma Mohsin and Viviane Dalles on Women’s issues. Thanks to the support of Selvel Media, which will bring photographs on some hoardings in the city, the Alliance Française d’Ahmedabad is very pleased to be associated with Jyoti Sangh, inspired by Mahatma Gandhi and founded by Ms. Mrudula Sarabhai, to address Women’s issues in contemporary India.
