After two sold out shows in April, Alliance Francaise d’Ahmedabad is excited to host Aditya Gandhi again with a fresh project and all new music!
Classical music, in its purest form, hasn’t existed for a while. Although we continue to call it so, classical music has over the past century merged with Folk Music, Jazz, Popular Music, and many other artistic styles, creating a whole new contemporary language. This recital is a brief but wide glimpse into this world – a world where age old idioms are combined with a modern and more organic style of music, where folklore is transformed into contemporary images reflective of our lives today.
This concert is not just an opportunity to hear new music by pioneering composers of our time, but rather to experience the limits of what music as a medium of expression can convey…
