On the occasion of the World Heritage Week, Alliance Française d’Ahmedabad invites you to discover an age-old art form that dates back to the Mughal days. Ahmedabad based artist Shahidhussain Ansari has explored a new expression through Zardozi. He has created images of heritage monuments of Ahmedabad (darwajas, mosques, chabutaras, etc.) through Zardozi and Aari styles of embroidery.
